The cottage combines a tasteful, well-kept main house with a separate lakeside sauna, both looking out over the lake. The layout works well for a group, with bedrooms on both floors, terraces on either side of the house and a balcony upstairs. Outside, the shallow water, hard sandy beach and boat make the shoreline especially inviting, while the wood-heated sauna adds a classic Finnish finish to the stay.
This cottage sits on a slope west of Jyväskylä, with a beautiful view over lake Isojärvi. The setting feels open and calm, and the shoreline is only a short walk away.
The main house has a spacious kitchen on the ground floor, along with one bedroom, a laundry room and terraces on both sides. Upstairs, three more bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom with shower and WC, and a balcony give the cottage plenty of room for a group of eight.
Down by the lake, the separate sauna building adds another place to gather, with a living room, shower room, WC, fireplace and terrace. The beach is shallow with hard sand, and a boat is available for time on the water. The cottage also has underfloor heating, mechanical ventilation and wireless internet, and it is tastefully furnished throughout.
In the area, the 18 km Isojärvi outdoor recreation and riding route offers good days out, and there are riding stables nearby. Himos services are within reach, and day trips can also take you to Petäjävesi, Haapamäki Steam Engine Park, Ähtäri Zoo and Moksunniemi Golf. Dogs are allowed for an extra charge, tap water is drinkable but contains iron, and the owner also offers berry products, snowshoes and kick sleds for rent.
