Inside, the laminated log house is arranged for easy family stays. Downstairs you have a bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with two beds, the living room, kitchen area, washroom, sauna, hall and vestibule. Upstairs there is another bedroom with a double bed, a separate WC and a lounge area. A large porch runs along two sides of the house, giving you plenty of space to sit outside.
The cottage also has a gas-fired barbecue grill, satellite TV and music equipment, and the outdoor slope to the shore is paved with stones and steps. By the water, you can use the campfire place and enjoy the lake setting at your own pace. The cottage is rented to families only, and final cleaning is included.
Jämsän Gasthaus can arrange bicycle and snowshoe hire, meal services to the cottage and laundry facilities. Himos Ski Resort and Himos Golf are 25 km away, Jämsänkoski services are 11 km away, and Isojärvi National Park is 40 km away. The area is also good for berry and mushroom picking, with horse riding 22 km from the cottage.
