Rantamökki is a renovated log house by Lake Jutilanjärvi near Himos. The cottage was built in 1929 and renovated in 2006, with the kitchen fully renovated in 2016.
Inside, there is a living room and kitchen, two bedrooms, a dressing room with a mattress as an extra bed, one bathroom, a washroom, and an open veranda. The cottage also has internet connection, a heat-storing fireplace, electric heating, and an air source heat pump.
Outside, you’ll find a pier, your own boat, a rowing boat, and an electric outboard motor. There is also a wood-heated sauna, a barbecue shelter with a gas stove and fridge, and a gas grill. A swing for children is available as well.
The setting offers good possibilities for fishing, and also crayfishing, berry picking, and mushroom gathering. In winter, there are three skiing resorts — Himos, Riihivuori, and Purnu — within 45 minutes of the cottage. Baby cot and high chair are available on request.
