Outside, the terrace is only 5 metres from the swimming pier, and the larger pier has a barbecue and sun canopy. A rowing boat is included, the yard is fenced, and New Port Marina is next to the cottage if you want to rent a berth during your stay. Mainiemi Camping is also nearby.
Padasjoki centre is about 2 km away, and the area offers boating, fishing, canoeing, disc golf, and tennis. In winter, a track and excursion skating rink pass in front of the cottage, and there is access to a swimming hall and a wide ski trail network. Päijänne National Park is 7 km away by boat, and ski resorts are within about an hour’s drive.
