Villa Ebba is a pink, old-fashioned wooden cottage in the countryside near Himos. Built in 1965 and renovated in 2014, it offers a simple and practical base for a stay in rural Central Finland.
The cottage has a kitchen-living room with a sofa bed for one, one bedroom with two beds, and a laundry and utility room with a walk-in shower and washer and dryer. There is also a porch, terrace, summer kitchen, woodshed, Wi-Fi, satellite antenna, and mechanical ventilation.
Guests can use the electric sauna, and there is a wood-fired DROP pool on the covered terrace. The pool can be used freely from 1.5. to 30.10.; in winter it can be heated by the owner for an extra fee, if booked well in advance and weather conditions allow it.
Lake Suojärvi is 800 m away, with a hard and deep shared beach and an own boat. The owner can also rent recreational equipment such as canoes, bicycles, electric bicycles, fishing equipment, an outboard motor, and a lakeside sauna at extra cost.
In winter, when there is enough snow, freestyle and classic ski trails start from the yard. The cottage is also close to Sysmä services, and the destination has the STF certificate issued by Visit Finland.
