This cabin sits in Hämeenlinna, about 40 kilometres north-east of the town centre, in a quiet lakeside setting by Lake Konaanjärvi. The shoreline is only 25 metres away, with shallow water and a firm sanded clay bottom, and the cabin has its own boat for days on the water.
Built in 1995 and renovated in 2010, the cabin is arranged over two levels. Downstairs you have a hearth room, one bedroom with two beds, a washroom and a wood-heated sauna, along with a veranda. Upstairs, the living room opens to a kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, and a sleeping loft with three beds; the loft has low headroom, so it suits guests who are happy with a compact sleeping space. There is also a veranda upstairs.
Outside, you can use the barbecue shelter and take advantage of the marked nature paths with resting places nearby. An electric outboard motor is available for rent, and there is an outside power point for the car. Riding is 9 kilometres away, and ski tracks and the ski centre are within driving distance for winter days.
Practical details include a 50 euro deposit paid in cash on arrival. The shoreline and water conditions can vary with the season, so the exact lake access may change.
