Lystikämän Elämys is set in a green lakeside landscape on the owner’s farm, in a safe private area about 58 km southeast of Rovaniemi. The property includes a log cabin built in 2021 and a partially glass-walled igloo-style cabin on the beach.
The log cabin has a living room/kitchen with bunk bed and sofa bed, plus a sauna with a wood-burning stove and a washroom/WC connected to the sauna. On the terrace, there is a 5-person hydro massage bath outdoors that can be rented for an additional fee.
The igloo-style cabin has a double bed, heating, lighting, kitchenette, chemical toilet, and a small terrace suitable for staying outside on the water. It is described as perfect for observing the northern lights and the starry sky in winter, and for enjoying the nightless night in summer.
Right off the beach there are good fishing waters, and guests have access to a rowing boat. The area also offers a 1 km nature trail with a lean-to shelter and campfire site, shared with two other cabins. In winter, there is a sledding hill for children, a ski trail starting from the yard, and the possibility to rent snowshoes or arrange snowmobile tours for an extra fee.
