This cabin stands in Suvanto, the village neighbour of Pyhä in Pelkosenniemi, and has a distinctive silver log design with a simple, characterful feel. It sleeps 2–5 guests in one bedroom and a low loft, with steep stairs leading up to the extra sleeping space.
Inside, the cabin brings together a kitchenette and living area, plus a washroom and a wood-heated sauna for relaxed evenings after a day outdoors. An open porch gives you a place to sit out, and the cabin’s practical layout keeps the stay straightforward and cosy.
Outside, the river and Lake Kokkonen are only 30 metres away, with a shallow, hard-sand shore and a shared shoreline section. You also have an own boat, and a roofed grill shelter is shared with the neighbouring cabins. Neighbours are close on both sides, so the setting feels compact and communal rather than secluded.
Pyhä’s ski lift, ski centre and national park are all about 20 km away, while a ski track starts just 10 metres from the cabin. Final cleaning should be ordered in advance, and pets are welcome for an extra fee.
