This renovated 18th-century granary in Småland is now a welcoming cottage with a very good standard and a calm setting among manor landscapes. Inside, the kitchen and living room form one open space, with a woodburning stove, sofa seating and a TV placed to take in the large window and the view across Lake Bunn.
The cottage is made for easy shared stays, with room for 10 guests around the large dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the house is nicely furnished throughout, giving the old building a comfortable, practical feel for longer holidays and family gatherings.
Down by the water, a jetty sits directly below the house with good swimming and fishing opportunities. You can rent a motor for the boat, add an extra rowing boat, and buy a fishing licence on site. If you want to slow the pace even more, a renovated sauna by the lake can be rented through the owner.
Gränna is within easy reach, and Visingsö is nearby by ferry. John Bauerleden offers a scenic hiking experience, while Elmia and Jönköping are also accessible for day trips. A public bathing place with a sandy beach and bridge is about 300 metres away.
