You can swim from the sandy beach, fish in the lake, and head straight into nearby trails, berry-picking country, and winter ski tracks.
This cottage sits high above Linnesjön outside Skillingaryd in Småland, with a broad panorama over the water. The house is modern and comfortably furnished, and one of the bedrooms has a balcony where you can watch the sunrise in the early morning.
Outside, a large terrace wraps around the house and is partly covered, with a barbecue area for easy meals in the open air. Down by the jetty, the boat is included in the rental, and you can also hire a motor from the owner. The lake invites both swimming and fishing, with a sandy beach as well as the jetty for access to the water.
The area is made for active days outdoors. Beautiful hiking trails are close by, and you can pick berries and mushrooms in season. In winter, cross-country ski trails are only 6 km away, Småland trails a little farther out.
This is also a good base for day trips, with Jönköping about 50 km away for shopping, restaurants, and services. WiFi can be ordered from the owner for a fee.
