This cottage sits on Albarella, a private island in the lagoon south of Venice, where cars are not allowed and bicycles set the pace. The island is linked to the mainland by bridge and offers a secure, well-organised holiday setting with nature, sport, and family activities all close together.
The cottage is a semi-detached stay of 90 m² on the second floor, with a kitchen-living room, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. It sleeps six guests, with two double bedrooms and a third bedroom with bunk beds. Air conditioning, a washing machine, a barbecue, and garden furniture add to the practical comfort, while the shared site and free parking nearby make arrival straightforward.
Outside, the island opens up into a full holiday world: more than 4 km of sandy beaches, an outdoor pool, a golf course, tennis, horse riding, cycling, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, and plenty more besides. Children have their own playgrounds and activities, and the island’s restaurants, shops, and evening entertainment mean you can keep the day as active or as relaxed as you like.
Nature is part of the stay too, with fallow deer, herons, hares, and other birdlife living on the island. A small electric train runs during the day, but bicycles are the main way to get around. The island also offers access to the Po Delta Park and trips to nearby historic cities such as Venice.
