SALLAN SAAGA is a high-quality, well-equipped holiday apartment in the Sallatunturi tourist center area of Salla, Lappi. The log-built apartment was built in 2011 and is one of four apartments in the house.
The apartment has a living room/kitchen, three bedrooms with two beds in each, a washroom, a sauna with an electric sauna stove, a utility room, two WCs, a lobby, and an open porch. It also has water-based floor heating, a tumble dryer, a drying cabinet, mechanical ventilation, wireless internet, and satellite channels.
The internet connection is fiber optical and distributed wirelessly to the apartments, and it is described as good enough for telecommuting. There is an unobstructed passage inside the apartment, but the entrance has a couple of stairs and there is no ramp.
In winter, maintained ski trails run through forest and fell terrain nearby. In summer, there are biking and hiking routes, and the apartment is located near the planned Salla National Park along nice hiking trails. Guests can also use the shared cooking hut located by the pond.
