This cabin stands on the southern shore of Porontimajärvi in Kuusamo, with the lake just 40 metres away and a shared sandy beach at the water’s edge. It sleeps up to six in one bedroom with a double bed and two sofa beds in the living room, making it a straightforward base for a small family or two couples.
The living room and kitchen form the main gathering space, and the cabin is equipped for easy stays with an electric sauna, a heat-storing fireplace, and an air-source heat pump that cools in summer and warms in winter. There is also an electrified cooking hut outside, and the cabin has its own rowing boat for time on the lake.
